Description: The OYSTAR USA Pharmaceutical Packaging Division expands its range of machines with the OYSTAR IWK continuous motion SC 8 and the OYSTAR IWK intermittent motion SI 8 cartoning machines for large folding boxes with a width of up to 165mm. While both machines were created specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, they can be used throughout the packaging industry. The machines can operate in continuous or intermittent motion with speeds up to 150 cartons per minute in sizes ranging from 40 x 20 x 65mm to 165 x 75 x 230mm. Airless Corner-Wrap Labeling System

Description: ID Technology, a division of Pro Mach, has designed a printer applicator corner-wrap labeling system that does not require factory air. Instead, an electric fan to hold the label in place prior to label application creates a vacuum. After the label is printed using a thermal transfer print engine, the label is held onto a pivoting vacuum grid attached to a follow along roller. This labeling module applies the label to the side and around the leading corner of a case or carton as the box travels along a conveyor. This design is also a space saver with a compact footprint for production floors with limited space. Even with the narrow aisle design, operators can easily access the pneumatics, electronics and other components because the entire system is a truly modular design.
Footprint: 16 in. deep x 38 in. long, measuring along the length of the conveyor.
Changeover: All applicator modules can be replaced within moments by removing two or four bolts and installing a new module.

Description: Based on the refinement of existing PDC patents, the F-160 Shrinkbander uses dual servos for product handling and sleeve feeding without vacuum pneumatics or spinning knives. Compact components create a small machine footprint and the fully enclosed, stainless steel version of the system is ideally suited for easy wash-down.
F-160 shrinkbanders apply tamper evident bands to tubs and containers used for dairy spreads, ice cream, oatmeal, prepackaged delicatessen foods, cultured products, yogurt and dessert toppings. The systems have a touch screen interface, static eliminator and low material sensor. Other standard features include full safety enclosure, heavy-duty mechanical construction, Mitsubishi PLC control and servos, tool-less changeover, keyed run/jog switch and upstream photo-eyes. F-160 shrinkbanders can be customized with additional sensors, solid stainless steel construction, Allen-Bradley PLCs and Touch Screens, power transformers and motorized height adjustment. PDC F-Series shrinkbanders are built to UL standards and use off the shelf components to minimize operational costs and downtime throughout the system’s long service life.

Description: The Model H-130 is an economical intermittent motion, variable speed machine designed for producing three or four sided seal pouches. Liquids, pastes, powders and granular products can be packaged by selecting the piston pumps, servo driven augers or volumetric adjustable cup product dosing units. Special counters for pills, tablets and small parts, as well as a towelette folding and cutting unit can be adapted to the Model H-130. Tear notching, display hole punches, special tear notch, date and batch coding and gas flushing are part of a broad selection of optional features.
